This page documents why third-party “scripts” for Verity Companion violate Roblox Terms of Use, the ban risk you accept by running them, the fake Robux scam patterns that target new players, and the official link verification flow. Why third-party scripts violate Roblox ToS

Roblox Terms of Use prohibit any tool that automates gameplay, modifies the client, injects code, or grants an unfair advantage. Verity Companion inherits this rule because it runs on the Roblox client. Any third-party “script” — whether it claims to be an auto-farm, auto-quest, infinite coins, XP booster, or jumpscare skipper — falls into at least one prohibited category.

The wiki team has reviewed the most common script categories. Every category violates Roblox ToS:

Ban risk and account consequences

Roblox enforces the Terms of Use with automated detection and manual review. The consequences for running a prohibited script are:

• Warning for first-time minor violations (usually cosmetic unlockers).
• Temporary suspension for repeat violations or major exploits (usually 1–7 days).
• Permanent account ban for severe violations or commercial distribution of exploits.

The ban applies to the Roblox account, not the device. A new account on the same device can also be banned if the device fingerprint matches a previously banned account. The wiki recommends you never run any third-party script, even as a test.

What to do if you have already run a script:

1. Uninstall the script and any helper app it bundled.
2. Change your Roblox password immediately. Enable two-step verification if available.
3. Run a reputable malware scan on the device. Many “scripts” bundle credential stealers.
4. Review your Roblox account email for unauthorised password reset attempts.
5. Report the incident to Roblox support through the official abuse channel.

Fake Robux scams

The Verity Companion community has grown fast enough to attract scam campaigns that target new players. The most common pattern is a fake “Robux generator” that asks for your Roblox username and password, then drains your account.

Scam patterns to recognise:

• Free Robux websites that ask for your Roblox login. Roblox never asks for your password outside the official roblox.com login.
• Discord DMs from “moderators” offering free Robux for a code redemption. The studio never grants Robux through DMs.
• YouTube comments linking to “Robux generators” or “Ink generators”. These are phishing pages.
• TikTok videos showing a “working” Robux generator that prompts for your password. The screen is edited.
• Fake wiki clones that mirror the Official Links hub but replace every link with a phishing URL. Always check the domain before clicking.

The verification flow:

1. Open the Official Links hub.
2. Compare the URL in your address bar to the URL listed on the wiki. The wiki only links to official domains.
3. Hover over any link before clicking. The status bar should show a roblox.com or studio-official domain.
4. Never enter your Roblox password on a page that does not end in roblox.com.

Account safety tips

Beyond avoiding scripts and scams, the wiki recommends a baseline account safety setup for every Verity Companion player:

• Enable two-step verification on your Roblox account.
• Use a unique password that you do not reuse on any other service.
• Never share your account with friends, even for a single run. The trust variable persists across users.
• Review the device list in your Roblox account settings monthly. Remove any device you do not recognise.
• Report impersonators through the Roblox abuse button. The studio cannot moderate impersonators on Discord or TikTok directly.

Official link verification

The wiki only links to domains the studio controls. The Official Links hub is the canonical list. Every link on the wiki routes through one of the following domains:

• roblox.com
• The studio’s verified creator profile (linked from the creator profile).
• The studio’s verified Discord.
• The studio’s verified Trello.

If a link on the wiki ever points to a different domain, treat it as a phishing attempt and report it to the wiki team. The Updates hub logs every domain change.

What the studio does

The studio behind Verity Companion has published several design notes that touch on safety:

• No pay-to-win by design. Game Passes unlock cosmetics and save slots, never Ink or gameplay advantages.
• No third-party executables tolerated. The studio has stated in their Trello that any verified exploit report results in a permanent ban.
• No telemetry beyond standard Roblox analytics. The studio does not collect data outside the Roblox analytics layer.
• No account bans for legitimate play. The studio only bans for verified ToS violations.

If you have been scammed

If you have already entered your Roblox password on a phishing site, take these steps immediately:

1. Change your Roblox password.
2. Enable two-step verification.
3. Review the device list in your account settings.
4. File a report with Roblox support.
5. Run a malware scan on the device.
6. Watch your email for credential stuffing attempts on other services.

The wiki team cannot recover lost Robux or unbanned accounts. Roblox support is the only channel for account recovery.
