This FAQ supplements the Codes hub and the how to redeem guide. Every answer is updated whenever the Roblox client rolls a new patch. If you do not see your question here, send it to the wiki Discord and we will add it.
Why does a code say it is expired?
Roblox events typically last 48 to 96 hours. After the window closes the studio disables redemption server-side. The wiki mirrors the patch log on the Updates hub so you can see whether a code was retired by design or removed by mistake. Replacement codes usually drop alongside the next patch.
Can I redeem codes on mobile?
Yes. The redeem flow is identical on the Roblox mobile app, the in-browser player, and the PC client. If the bird icon is hidden behind a notched display, rotate to landscape mode. The wiki screenshots on the how to redeem page include both PC and mobile views.
Are codes region locked?
Some Roblox events ship in waves. If a code fails the first time, wait two hours and try again. Persistent failures usually mean the code is region-locked. The Codes hub table lists which regions each code supports whenever the developer publishes that detail.
Do codes cost Robux?
No. Codes are always free. Anything promising free Robux in exchange for codes is a scam — report the profile through the Roblox abuse button and never share your password. Our Official Links hub lists every verified channel.
Can I redeem a code twice?
One redemption per account. The Roblox server uses your userId to track claims. Re-entering the same code returns a friendly Already Redeemed message. If you have multiple accounts, each one can claim the code once.
Do codes work in private servers?
Yes. Private servers do not change your ability to redeem. The redeem overlay checks your account, not the server you are currently in. Private servers are useful for testing a fresh save before spending rewards — see the getting started guide.
What if the bird icon does not appear?
The redeem button is locked until you complete the tutorial dialogue with your companion. If you have completed the tutorial and the bird is still missing, force-restart the Roblox client. Persistent issues can be fixed by clearing the Roblox cache from Settings → Privacy.
Where do I report a code that does not work?
Use the contact form on the Official Links hub. Include the code text, the time you tried, and your region. We will re-test the code and update the Updates hub if the patch retired it.
Will my rewards survive a server wipe?
Inventory items are not wiped by Roblox. Once a code is redeemed the reward is bound to your account. The wiki only marks a code as expired when the developer removes it from the live pool — your past rewards stay intact.
Can I share codes with friends?
Yes. Codes are designed to be shared. Send the code text from the Codes hub and let your friend paste it into their own overlay. Each account claims the reward independently.
What is the fastest way to find fresh codes?
Bookmark the Codes hub. The page is regenerated within five minutes of any Roblox update or developer tweet, and the Updates hub logs the time of each refresh.
Does the wiki test every code?
Yes. Every entry on the Codes hub is verified inside the live Roblox client. We do not list codes from unverified leaks or third-party databases.

Can I redeem codes while offline?
No. Redemption requires a live connection to Roblox servers. The redeem overlay sends the claim to the backend, which validates your account and returns the reward.
Do Game Pass holders get more codes?
No. Verity Companion codes are public and identical for every player. Game Passes unlock cosmetic overlays and an extra save slot, but they never gate code redemption.
Why are some codes only for specific companions?
Recent Roblox events reward specific companion personalities. Pair the code with the matching companion from the Tier List hub to maximise the effect.
