Verity Companion How to unlock every ending
Five confirmed outcomes with the exact dialogue choices and companion pairings you need.
Why this guide exists
Verity Companion currently ships with five confirmed endings. Each one is gated by companion choice, dialogue decisions, and jumpscare timing. The how to unlock endings page is the canonical list. New endings arrive with major Roblox patches and are added within 48 hours.
Ending 1 — Pacifist (Seren route)
Companion: Empath (Seren). How to unlock: keep the ‘trust’ variable above 70, never select a violent dialogue option in Room 4, and redeem the DARKROOM code before starting the run. Time of day: any. Why it matters: the pacifist ending is the easiest to reach and the safest for new Roblox players.
Ending 2 — Analyst (Tess route)
Companion: Analyst (Tess). How to unlock: complete every puzzle without skipping the hint dialogue, and pick the cold-logic response in Room 5. Time of day: any. Why it matters: this ending unlocks the most lore entries and is the canonical ‘lore fan’ route.
Ending 3 — Skeptic (Vex route)
Companion: Skeptic (Vex). How to unlock: probe every optional object in Room 2 and Room 4, and pick the dismissive response in Room 5. Time of day: any. Why it matters: Vex’s route unlocks the hidden-room narrative that wraps the side-quests.
Ending 4 — Guardian (Brick route)
Companion: Guardian (Brick). How to unlock: pick the protective dialogue option in Room 3 and the defender response in Room 5. Time of day: any. Why it matters: the defender route locks you out of two hidden rooms but unlocks the ‘sacrifice’ variant of the pacifist ending.
Ending 5 — Trickster (Loki route)
Companion: Trickster (Loki). How to unlock: switch personalities mid-run after Room 2 (the AI remembers the switch), pick the wildcard dialogue in Room 5, and survive the bonus jumpscare. Time of day: any. Why it matters: this is the hardest ending because the bonus jumpscare timer is only 60 seconds.
How to switch companions mid-run
The how to use the AI companion guide documents the mid-run swap. You must:
- Reach the lobby desk after Room 2.
- Tap the companion portrait.
- Select the new personality.
- Confirm the swap. The trust variable resets for the new personality.
Build the route
Pair each ending with the Tier List hub so you know which companion is best for the route. Pair with the Codes hub so you can claim every reward along the way. Pair with the how to survive jumpscares guide so you can clear the timer thresholds that gate the harder endings.
What the wiki does not unlock
Verity Companion does not have a secret sixth ending. Any guide claiming otherwise is reading fake patch notes. The Updates hub is the only source of truth — if a new ending ships, we add it here first.
Save management tips
- Reset your save before tackling the Trickster route so the bonus jumpscare timer is at its lowest.
- Redeem the DARKROOM code so you have an extra save slot for the Brick route.
- The how to progress fast guide times each route so you can plan around your real-world schedule.
Cross-check with the AI map
The Scripts hub documents the dialogue decision map. Use it as a study aid to understand why each ending requires a specific dialogue branch.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Which ending should I aim for first?
The pacifist ending with Empath (Seren) is the easiest. The getting started guide walks you through the run.
Is there a secret sixth ending?
No. Anything claiming a hidden ending is reading fake patch notes. The Updates hub is the only source of truth.
Can I switch companions mid-run?
Yes. Tap your companion portrait at the lobby desk after Room 2 and pick a new personality. The how to use the AI companion guide explains the trade-offs.
Do endings affect the next run?
Yes — some endings unlock dialogue fragments that persist across saves. The how to find secret rooms guide explains the cross-run unlocks.
