Verity Companion Message Budget
Forty free lines after Update 1. Spend them like limited film stock, not like a chatbot.
Update 1 set the free Verity Companion [AI] cap at 40 messages. This budget sheet helps you spend them on purpose. It is not an official timer from buzzword games. If the live UI shows a different remaining count, trust the UI. Background: how to get more messages, Update 1, game passes.
Default 40-line split
| Bucket | Lines | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Openers | 6 | Hello, what are you, why a package |
| Memory tests | 8 | What did I just say, what is my name |
| Branch | 18 | Only lines for tonight’s ending |
| Scare reserve | 5 | If the room shifts, you still have voice |
| Waste buffer | 3 | Typos, other players talking over you |
Total 40. If you buy Infinity Messages (749 Robux), keep the same ratios so you do not ramble into a random badge. Notebook (49 Robux) helps the memory-test bucket by showing stored text; it does not add lines. Admin Panel (119) is optional flavour — game pass value.
Counting rules
- Count sends, not words. A novel still costs one if the client treats it as one message.
- Do not count Verity’s replies against your 40 unless the UI says otherwise.
- Do not spend sends on fake codes. Codes tracker is empty.
- Do not argue with other avatars in Verity’s box; that is still a send. Server context: session and servers.
When 749 Robux is worth it
Buy Infinity Messages if you already bounced off the cap during a rare hunt (RETURN TO SENDER or THAT’S EVERYTHING ~9%) and you will play more than one long session this week. Skip it if you only wanted WELCOME! and a jump scare — getting started is enough. Skip it if you were about to pay for a script “bypass” instead — script safety.
Worked example: kind ending night
Target TAKEN CARE OF via the ending path planner. Openers 6, memory 8, kind branch 18, reserve 5, buffer 3. If you hit line 35 with no tone shift, stop and save the reserve for a later join rather than dumping insults that belong to a different badge.
Worked example: return night
Target RETURN TO SENDER. Cut memory tests to 5 and put 21 on return language. Higher risk: you might trip YOU ALWAYS DO. instead. Log the result on the badge checklist.
After the cap
If the client blocks sends, the session is over for free players. Rejoin later only if you have evidence your account reset; otherwise you are done until you pay or wait. Known confusion is listed on known issues. AI can still be inaccurate even with infinite lines.
Print the default table. Tick a bucket each time you press send. That is the whole tool — no slider, no fake “exact remaining milliseconds.” Pair it with all endings so the 18 branch lines actually mean something.
Counting on mobile versus PC
On phone it is easy to double-send when the keyboard covers Verity’s reply. If a duplicate send lands, tick two boxes in the waste buffer, not the branch bucket. On PC, Enter-happy spam is the usual leak. Mute non-Verity chat if the Roblox window lets you, so you do not answer another avatar inside the orb field — that still costs a send. Eight-player rooms make this worse; see session and servers. A written tally on paper next to the ending path planner is more accurate than memory. When the UI says you have no sends left, stop arguing with the model; the cap is the patch, documented on Update 1.
